We are delighted to let you know that two new animated 2-minute explainer films about Prevent have now been added to the ACT Early website . You can find them on the website here:


The films are aimed at a general public, concerned friends and family audience, and provide an introduction to Prevent and to the work of Prevent officers. By improving understanding of Prevent and explaining the way they work with partners, they hope more people will be encouraged and assured to seek help at an earlier stage where appropriate.

NSPCC & O2 Net Aware App:


Net  Aware is an app produced by O2 and the NSPCC. It covers 39 of the most popular sites, apps and games used by young people. It helps parents and carers to decide if an app or game is age appropriate and explores what content may be encountered. The risk of exposure to harmful content such as; sexual behaviour, violence, bullying, suicide, drink, drugs and crime is clearly measured by using a high medium and low scale:
